"Although a photograph of the setting sun may seem like an obvious choice for a coastal photograph, it isn't always chosen due to the rather unoriginal nature of such compositions. Digital photography has made the task even harder, as the large dynamic range created by including the sun is more tricky to capture successfully than in the days of film. However, I was really happy with all the elements within this particular image when there was just enough thin cloud to reduce the glare of the sun to a manageable level."
