"At the highest tide, this particular breakwater was the only one that stood in the sea for its entire length on this shoreline. The bright surface of the surrounding water helped to accentuate the outline of each of the wooden posts that make up the breakwater. I used a 'Big Stopper', in the main picture, to take a long exposure shot which removed any distracting detail in the water's surface. Luckily the clouds overhead were moving in the same direction as the breakwater was pointing, so they shared the same vanishing point in the image." |
