"I'd curtailed a visit here the previous day, after finding one of the many photographic groups that tour Skye had already arrived and I didn't much fancy competing for a position on the beach. The next day, I set up at this particular spot and a few minutes later a large photographic tour group arrived! Fortunately they were very considerate and carefully kept out of my field of view for the composition I had set up. I decided the best strategy was to stay at this spot and allow the changing weather conditions to provide the variety in my shots."
