"The North American Red Squirrel, a different species from the European Red Squirrel, was a common sight in the woods of Nova Scotia. This particular individual was using a wooden footbridge to cross from one side of a river to the other. Like many small animals at this time of year, it was busy collecting food to store for the winter."
