"Most of the rocks here were covered in unattractive algae, but one small area was very clean and one could see quite clearly lines running through the rocks which accentuated their contours. Often such 'inner landscape' shots benefit from overcast conditions, but here I think the soft shadows cast by the bright hazy conditions have helped to emphasize the shapes of the rocks. I particularly liked the shot shown in the main image, as the pale line in the sand mirrors the shapes of the lines in the rocks."
